Little Rock Bible Study Group

Little Rock Scripture Study Groups are now running in the Parish.

Small groups (5-10 people) meet weekly to read the Bible, contemplate the meanings of our sacred writings and to discuss how these are relevant in our lives today.

The groups utilise the “Little Rock Scripture Study” resources – so called because they come from the Diocese of Little Rock, Arkansas, USA.  Little Rock offers materials that are simple to use, and a method that has been tested by time.  The questions in the study guides direct the conversation, help participants to understand the passages that they are reading and challenges them to relate the Scriptures to their own life experiences.

Little Rock Bible Study meets every Tuesday, 7pm-9pm, in the Meditation Room located next door to the Parish Meeting Rooms at 50 Fairway Drive, Clear Island Waters.

Lent/Easter Discussion Groups

Each year the Archdiocese issues Lenten Discussion Group resources.  Small Groups are then formed throughout the Parish Community to suit everybody’s needs.  The aim is to set time aside for renewal during Lent, to consider various aspects of one’s life, with the assistance of a prepared Lenten program.

Weekly sessions of approximately 1˝ hours.  Full details will be published in the Parish Newsletter and on this page in the weeks preceding Lent.
