PARISH FINANCES

Dear Parishioners

Again I would like to thank you for your financial support of the Parish. We have many visitors to our Parish throughout the year and they often comment on the friendly nature and the prayerful worship in our Parish.

Many of you already know you receive a tax deduction for monies given to the Parish through the Planned Giving Envelope (2^nd Collection). Also a lot of people are taking advantage of giving to the Parish by Direct Debit from their banks. We have also been very fortunate to receive some money from a Will left to the Parish – you may consider this when making your Will.

We still have a debt of $1.25 million owing on our Schools. I believe very deeply in giving our children a good start in their faith life by having a Catholic education.

I am grateful to you not only for the money you have given to the Parish but also for the money you have given to the Special Collections we have during the year. I am asked by many organizations but I try to keep the Collections to a minimum. The Parish gives annually to the Special Collections.

PARISH FINANCE COMMITTEE

The Parish Finance Committee meets throughout the year, to regularly review Parish and Parish School finances and to act as an advisory body to the Parish Priest in all matters of a financial matter.
