A “mobile library” service
visits St Vincent’s Church once a month. Consult the
Parish newsletter for dates. Permanent
“library bookshelves” offer books and audio to be borrowed at all times by
the “honour system”. They are located
in the Parish Office and the Meditation Room at Sacred Heart, at St Vincent’s Church and Stella Maris Church. The collections are swapped and renewed
periodically
An extension of Library services
is the stocking of the Adult Faith Racks at the back of each of our Churches.
Here back copies of magazines and articles of interest are sourced and
photocopied. Monthly prayer materials
from the Apostleship of Prayer and Taize are popular.

Volunteers and Friends of the
Library – A team of volunteers assist our Librarian. They open the library at weekends; cover,
repair and re-shelve books and help with administration and typing
duties. The Library Chaplain is our
Parish Priest, Fr Dan Ryan, and
the Librarian is Jean Di Benedetto.
The Parish is proud
to offer a modern, attractive and useful resource and you are welcome to
visit us soon.
